Mendelssohn's oratorio "Elijah" was first performed in 1846, won immediate popularity, and has been a firm favourite of choral societies, especially in English speaking countries, ever since.

Frances Bourne - Mezzo-soprano

Richard Robbins - Tenor

And we will be accompanied by the Southeast Sinfonia.

We will be singing Handel's famous oratorio Messiah.
