Heathfield is twinned with the town of Forges-les-Eaux, deep in the heart of Normandy. Every couple of years or so, either their choir visits us, or a contingent from Heathfield make the trip to France. Most stay in the homes of the local choir members, and some lasting friendships have been formed over the years. There is invariably a joint concert at the end, as well as the opportunity for some memorable social events! Its always useful to learn more about other culture's approach to singing, to say nothing of reinforcing the entente cordial! All choir members are encouraged to participate, but clearly this will depend on individuial circumstances.
